Sarah Hurley……Pink Sparkles

Hi it’s July and time for a brand new challenge with

PINK SPARKLES

We were tasked with making a pink and sparkly creation, and this was a real challenge for me as I don’t naturally reach for either. It took me a good while to get started, and I finally decided on Sarah’s hand drawn Rose digi stamp, layered it on top of pink chevron paper from Sarah’s Kissing Booth digi kit and printing on white card stock.

Once I had finally settled on my decision I really enjoyed creating the background, and softening the white of the cardstock with Victorian Velvet distress ink, and Sarah’s small background stamps.

I coloured the rose with Promarkers, and added a sprinkling of diamond dust glitter to create the sparkle. Also subtly in the background I heat embossed some of the background stamps with twinkle embossing powder, hopefully you can just about see that in the photo below.

Lastly as a finishing touch I used an epiphany punch and Sarah’s paper again to make the pink bubble, before adding the pink gems for that extra bling.
