IndigoBlu Challenge – Flower Flutterbys
Well Good Morning everyone, and a very Happy Fathers Day to all Dad’s especially mine.
You may have noticed that IndigoBlu are introducing to us daily their brand new International Design Team there is a link to all their fabulous blogs and little about them here on the IndigoBlu blog.
I have some fabulous news for you myself too, I have joined the brand new IndigoBlu Challenge Design Team…….I know I can’t believe it either.
This week has been quite hectic meeting deadlines, keeping a teenager at home on summer holidays amused, and still doing the school run for the youngest, and I’ve hardly had time to think and let the news sink in. Every time I remember, and re-read the email it makes me smile and get all excited again. IndigoBlu are a fabulous brand and their range of quintessentially English stamps are a joy to work with.
So today, we as a new team are announced on the blog along with the launch of this months brand new challenge, and for me it couldn’t have been more appropriate, as this new post fills me with
The rest of the team have created beautiful pieces, and IndigoBlu have many fabulous Butterfly stamps available.
My offering today is Clean and Simple. I love to play with stamps and like to see how many different ways I can use one design, we all like to get the most out of our stash don’t we. So here I have used one stamp, the Stylised Flowers. I have cut (carefully, so that they can still be placed as used as intended)) into the stamp so that I can use the flowers individually, and created butterflies by inking and stamping just the small flower head as wings. To finish the look i have hand drawn a ‘squiggly’ line for the body.
If you have taken the time to pass by today, thank you so much, I would really love to hear from you.
Enjoy the rest of your day x

This is a pretty CAS card Claire and I love the way you have used the small flower minus the stem to make the butterflies, thinking outside the box.
