Vintage Garden Clock

Challenge #18 – LACE & RIBBON or ANYTHING GOES

As a DT we are so chuffed with how this challenge has taken off and really appreciate all the support we have received.

My two boys were so excitedto start their advent calenders this weekend and begin the countdown to christmas.
It was so nice to create this card, with the sun shining through the window, and pretend it was spring time.

I used the Vintage Garden Clock image from one of our sponsers this week

I coloured it really simply with the spring edition promarker colours, and reached again for my favourite Basic Grey paper collection.
Initially I started out layering all the layers, with the intention of matting the clock on top – bit as Istarted with an 8×8″ card i was aware of wasting too much paper thatwasn’t to be seen (how thrifty is that?!!! hehe)
Anyway as a result all the layers became frames – and I much preferred this look. The Martha Stewart punch around the page loops just enhanced the leather look paper too.

We would love you to visit our blog and see the other gorgeous creations from the rest of the DT.
We have three new members too.
