Under the Sea…

Hello, I’m hoping that blogger is doing it’s job, and posting this for me, as it is one of a few scheduled posts over the next two weeks, while I am away in sunny Spain.

As its Monday morning, it is of course time for a new challenge at ARTISTIC INSPIRATIONS, and we would like you to create with your DIE CUTS & PUNCHES.

LOL!…..not to taxing for you, as both of these items are of course compulsory items to own for many a crafter….LOL!

So as you can see I was definitely in holiday mode while I was colouring this little beauty, the inspiration given to us by our sponsor this week, Eureka Stamps,

who are generously offering 5 digi stamps to our winning creation.

I have used Spectrum Noir pens this week to colour the mermaid and the background against which she sits, I think these pens in particular offer the best bluey turquoise shades suit for marine scenes.
Also, I dusted off one of my Cricut Cartridges, and used my Cricut Image to colour and cut the waves, coral and seaweed. I must say I was chuffed that it worked so well after so long sitting unused, it is always a tense moment as the paper enters and the blade starts moving.

Thanks so much for stopping by and letting me know what you think. I will catch up with you all in a couple of weeks, when the boys are back at school, holiday washing/ironing is done, and I have some normal routine back 🙂
