To Dad….

Afternoon, just though I’d share a quick post with you this afternoon.

I just wanted to show off the card that my son Tom (aged 11, nearly 12!) made for his Dad for Father’s Day last week.
It has been a tradition for a long as he can remember for sure, that makes a card for his Dad. After delving through all my supplies he formulated this design himself, and the only part I played in making it was a bit of help in the execution.
I love the way he crafts, once he makes up his mind, he is very decisive and quickly gets the job done. LOL!…..wish my ideas flowed a bit more like that sometimes.
It was funny watching him work this year because he was much more precise telling me ‘things have to be placed “just so!”‘

A favourite with both of my boys is the alcohol ink, and the splodging of it on the card, and this makes up the background paper, before he embossed it with a gears folder. The gears were cut with Donna Salazar’s gears from spellbinders, and the lettering was cut with the Robots cricut cartridge.

Hope you like his creation, and I would love it if you could leave a few comments for him to read.

Thanks so much.
