Sunset Dreams….
Good Morning its Monday, and today is the day we travel home from Spain (feels weird writing that as I havn’t actually got there yet…..oh the wonders of blogging technology)
So it is time to introduce the new week with any other ARTISTIC INSPIRATIONS challenge, sponsored this week by Bugaboo, a favourite with many of you I’m sure.
SWIRLS
is our theme this week, one of my favourites, and it took me a while to choose which swirl stamp (and I have a few!!!!) to use in the background.

Adirondack Alcohol Inks – Watermelon, Butterscotch, Meadow, Willow
Bugaboo Image
This card came together remarkably quickly actually, and considering how bright it is for me, I was quite surprised.
I havn’t used any patterned papers, and all the colour was applied as alcohol ink. I created the background ‘scene’ to resemble a sunset and used the most vivid colours I had, then ran it through the printer to lay the image over the top. Because I was working with glossy paper, the printer ink remained wet enough for me to add clear embossing powder to the image to give it extra dimension.
The red background, I again applied alcohol ink to a large area of glossy paper, and over stamped it using black momento ink.
