Stamp-N-Doodle – Nature’s Notebook……

This week sees the last challenge of the month for Stamp-N-Doodle, and also the last week of school for my boys. my youngest had his last day at nursery school, and had a little concert. It was so sweet and the teachers done a fabulous job of teaching them some groovy little songs and moves to go with them.

As I said the challenge for this week at Stamp–N-Doodle is a layout challenge and we were tasked with a creation using the sketch below. I have been busy making little notebooks as teachers gifts so it seemed the perfect idea for me to submit a note book this week, with I think one of my favourite designs from Lynne at the Stamp-N-Doodle shop, the little Bird.

This week I used my original cartridge from the Cricut Image – Imagine More, to create all the layers, before printing Lynne’s bird image and cutting it out using a spellbinder’s die. Unusually I didn’t colour the bird this time, just used the die as a mack to colour tint with Distress Inks (bundled sage), and I was really pleased with the outcome.

Be sure to pop over to see the other creations from the rest of the design team, there are some stunning cards with some wonderful images too.

Also Lynne is about to launch her DOODLE POINTS scheme, allowing you to earn and collect points for a variety of activities linked to the blog, with the eventual aim for you to purchase her didgi stamps at a discount………. must be worth a look aye !!!

I have entered the following challenges
Bearly Mine challenge blog – #41 Anything Goes
City Crafter                          – #115 Make a gift
Creative Craft Challenges2 – Tweet Tweets
Party Time Tuesdays            – #74 Anything goes

Thank you for visiting, and enjoy the rest of the week x
