Sarah Hurley Special Editions Stamps – Autumnal Fireworks

Good Morning.

Thank you to my recent new followers, I appreciate your support and hope that you continue to enjoy what I make.

Sarah Hurley Jaine Drake special edition

It is my turn to share over on the Sarah Hurley 365 blog today, and today this card came quite naturally. I love this time of year, its so bright and fresh. The crisp mornings usually give way to a warm pleasant and bright sunny afternoon. The colours of the garden are still on show, but with a slightly different backdrop to summer, as the leaves and trees start to change.

I really find myself comfortable using autumn colours to create with, however my card today has more red on it than I would usually use. I have also been watching alot of youtube videos of people using watercolours and there is a big trend as the moment with people creating their own art through mixed media and journalling.

I fancied giving it a go, and I reached for this fabulous firework background stamp designed by my fellow DT member Jaine Drake. Having stamped the background I just enhanced and highlighted it using distress ink and watercolour pencils.
