Sarah Hurley Design Papers – Calendar Page

Hello Good Morning!

October Half term has arrived, and last night we had our first wet and wild evening of autumn. To be honest we have been so lucky with the weather – October has been glorious with crisp mornings giving way to bright sunny days and ending with chilly evenings.

Yesterday was no exception, and being Saturday, I took a day off from the craft room to be outside to get down to those garden jobs that I have staring at through the kitchen window. We popped out to lunch, came back, put the wellies and gloves on and got stuck in. So pleased I was in the right frame of mind, the afternoon was warm and bright, the boys were giggling and amusing themselves with their games, and the flower beds got smartened up. Some major work happened, and now I can delegate jobs to my willing 14 year old son, we are much more productive. He  jumped at the chance to chop  down some overgrown shrubs….what made me laugh afterwards was how he buried/camouflaged himself completely in the surplus shrubs….Bear Grylls stylee!

Today is a day in the kitchen and as this post goes live I have a chicken into roast,  scones baking in the oven, and a post going live on the Sarah Hurley 365 blog with my latest calendar page.  I have created October’s calendar page using a selection of Sarah Hurley Design papers
