Mood Quote Board Inspiration …

Hello, well this week has flown hasn’t it, but I wanted to pop a few cards on here to share with you before I get on and sort the washing.
I have made these cards in the style of the quote boards that we see in many of the home decor shops at the moment. I am really taken with the driftwood or wooden panelling effect. Some styles are left natural looking, and others are colour tinted. I have had a play with different colours here, and offered a couple of style to suit any occasion.

The panels here are stamped Kraft card and coloured with promarkers, offering a subtly muted colour way

Stamping and colouring subtly onto white card, and backing with a warm grey colour stops the pastel colours from looking washed out.

And of course I wanted to show that this style works for the guys too, stamping and colouring with bold promarkers onto white card.

I have kept a theme through each card and have stamped the words onto self adhesive canvas to create a clothes label effect, and I love the contrast of textures.
If you’d like details of the products I used head over to the Sarah Hurley 365 blog, where we as a design team offer you many posts and many different styles of projects as inspiration for your crafting.
