Monday Inspiration….Floral Steampunk…
Monday Inspiration
Well. Monday morning again, did you all have a lovely weekend?
I had a very lazy weekend for a change, and we didn’t leave the house. Saturday rained all day, so the ‘boys’ (and that includes my husband) planned a day of watching DVD – of course they chose action films and superheroes – not my scene. So I took the opportunity to craft ALL day….hehe!
I made 2 cards and one of those is here, where I have used the Rick St Dennis image again, to highlight our sponsor for the month at Crafty Bloggers Network Challenge, where it is an ‘Anything Goes’ theme
It is the second card I have made with this image, and just by chance I have used very similar colours (again…..sorry, but they are my favourite LOL!) but tried to create a feminine steampunk style.
I hope you like what I have made:
Card Recipe:
Image – Rick St Dennis, 1906 Hat
Card- Craftwork card fancy fold blank
papers – Basic Grey, Capella collection
Petalloo flowers
Spellbinders – Donna Salazar gears
Craft Emblies wood cut shapes
Hero Arts script stamp & cog stamp (in background)
Ribbon, lace, and cogs from stash
Promarkers
Hair – umber, sandstone, primrose
Hat – petrol blue, april shower
neckwear – icicle, april shower + blender to create dots

WOW WOW WOW This is absolutely amazing. I love the shape and that image is beautiful. There is so much to look at on your card… you have a real eye for embellishing and you have made this such a stunning make. I really struggle with embellishing as I never know what is too little or too much 🙁 Maybe I can have some lessons? 😀
