Layered stamping technique, & texture with stencils and Nuvo embellishment mousse
Hi there, I have another video tutorial for you today where I show you a layered stamping technique and how to create background texture with Tonic nuvo embellishment mousse.
What I’ve used
I have used my own stamp designs, the Solid Rectangles A6 stamps to create a mini background onto which I’ve used mini stamps designed by Kerri-Ann Briggs. This little image panel has been framed with my Nesting Circle & Rectangle A5 stamps sets, and mounted onto the card front using 3D adhesive foam.
All stamps are available on the Imagine Design Create website
80 x 120mm Butterflies & Hearts Stencil / Solid Rectangle A6 stamps / Nesting Circle & Rectangle A5 stamps / Mini Grasses A7 stamps / Mini Butterfly Blots A7 stamps.
I have used the Tonic Nuvo embellishment mousses again, this time spreading through the stencil to create a bit of depth and texture to the butterflies. I didn’t want the card to appear too pink, so I added a little bit of the Lemon Sorbet mouse through the stencil on top of the pink. Although in the video I used a stamping platform to create the little focal image, it is not essential- because the solid rectangle stamps are so easy to line up using stamping blocks.
