IndigoBlu Anemone Corner – Flower Framing Art

Hello, I’m happy to be sharing with you today a card made as DT inspiration for the  new IndigoBlu challenge FRAME IT

IndigoBlu - Frame it

I have created the background by colour tinting the paper, and then stamping with Distress Inks, Twisted Citron and Hickory Smoke. There are small text accents of Fossilized Amber, in the background also.

I have stamped the Anemone Corner Stamp, twice with Hickory Smoke onto white card and fussy cut the flowers, then lightly coloured them in the same inks. These flowers I used to frame the ‘Art dictionary definition’, so that it ties in with the challenge theme.

The card itself measures 8 x 8 inches, and is my favourite size to use. The actual art work is stamped onto a piece of 7 x 7 in, and a border of 3/4 inch was masked off before I started to colour tint the bakground. Peeling away the low tack tape after the stamping, reveals the clean crisp white frame around the image.
