Humphrey’s Corner

Well can you believe the couple of weeks Team GB have had – their achievements have been fabulous and entertaining and each one of the athletes, across all sports have done the country proud.
At least when it is over I will get some time back to get on with things again – life has been at a bit of a stand still I have to admit (if there was a gold medal for grabs for the largest pile of ironing, I think I’d win 🙂
So, down to this weeks challenge at Sunday Sketch & Stamp.

The talented Gry had given us the sketch for challenge #119. A really unusual sketch but fabulous to work with, and I am really pleased with this weeks card.

I added an little extra challenge and limited myself to using only 2 sheets of Bo Bunny 12×12 paper, along with an 8×8 craftwork cards card blank.
The paper is from the Bo Bunny Country Garden collection (garden dot & weathered), which is double sided heavy weight paper. The whole collection is coloured in these beautiful pastels – i think I am taken with it because of the muted script and text that is the underlying background theme – just beautiful.
The stamp is from Crafters Companion, Humphreys Corner Collection, ‘Swinging By’ – stamped onto watercolour paper and coloured with promarkers.
It would be great if you could pop over the the challenge blog and see the other creations from other members of the DT, and you never know you may be inspired to join in……hope to see you there.
