Hello I have a quick tutorial to share with you today, giving you some flower birthday card ideas using the NESTING STAMP RANGE that I have designed for Imagine Design Create.

NESTING HEARTS & FLOWERS stamp set

The concept of nesting stamps was born through my love of stamping, inky techniques and mixed media. I wanted to have the layering effect of nesting dies, but didn’t always want the dimension. I also wanted to have a set of stamps of a sketchy hand drawn nature to create backgrounds and add those finishing touches to my inky creations.

Nesting Hearts & Flowers stamps are the newest in the NESTING STAMP RANGE (along with the associated solid shapes that fit within these sketchy shapes)

Two decoupaged flowers created on a Nuvo shimmer powder background, mounted onto a card with a stamped array of sketchy look flowers to create a fresh and summer birthday card.

 

 

TONIC NUVO

As well as using my Imagine Design create Nesting stamps, I really enjoy using TONIC NUVO products.  Using one brand of products gives you the confidence to use different mediums on a project that will work within your colour scheme.

This card idea came about by creating the white embossed flowers on a Nuvo shimmer powder background. The rest of the project flowed beautifully thanks to Tonic carefully choosing inks and Jewel drops within the same colour families to give you a coherent look.
