Distress Oxide Christmas card for World Cardmaking Day
Hello All, welcome to my blog for
THE LITTLE PAPER TREE ‘BLOG HOP’ FOR WORLD CARDMAKING DAY
If you have arrived as part of the blog hop, how are you enjoying all the fabulous distress ink inspiration by everyone?
If you have hopped right from the beginning then you will know that by leaving a comment here, and of course on all the other blogs in the hop, you will be eligible to win a prize from Jeni & Janet at THE LITTLE PAPER TREE.
For all the information including T’s & C’s follow the above link above.
The next stop in the hop is over to MY CRAFT SHED
DISTRESS INK / OXIDE
The theme for this blog hop is ‘Distress Ink / Oxide’ so apt because I would imagine that every card maker has at least one distress product in their crafting stash. I was of course more than happy to accept Jeni’s invitation to take part – I use distress inks in one form or another each and every day I craft, as does Jeni who I know also a huge fan and stocks many distress products in th shop.
I have used a unique range of clever NESTING STAMPS (these being the Nesting Holly Leaves) designed by Imagine Design Create Ltd. that allow you to layer & pattern build nested images in all your mixed media and paper craft projects…much the same way as nesting dies do.
I have create a tutorial, walking you through the whole process, so I invite you to grab a cuppa and enjoy.
Thank you much for hopping by today, I do hope you enjoyed my contribution to World Card Making Day.
Don’t forget to go and visit Cheryl at MY CRAFT SHED, who will have another fab project and the link for you to continue with the hop.
See you again soon

Thank you! I used your video to help me make a special Christmas card. I didn’t have the same stamp set or all the same color inks, but I am happy with the results. I wanted to add a photo of it here, but cannot figure out how to add it. Thanks again,
Noreen

Hi Noreen, you’ve made my day- knowing that I’ve inspired someone to create.
I would love to see the card you’ve created, perhaps you can add it to Facebook and tag me in….. or maybe message it privately.
Crafting is all about about adapting techniques to suit you, so the fact you’ve used different designs is perfect.
Thank you xx
