Die cutting embossing Notebook page with Stamping

Good Morning, I thought I would share with you the cards that I currently have featured in the current edition of Die-cutting Essentials magazine, issue 3. My brief was to show the versatility of embossing folders.

The card I created here incorporates stamping, die cutting and embossing, and the key to creating this look, is to create in that order. I have written full instructions for the magazine, but to begin this card I started out stamping the main image with some of my favourite stamps, I like to create colour washed backgrounds with  Distress inks and background stamps. I then continue to create a stamped theme in co ordinating colours, and nearly always I end up creating a wild nature based image.

I then wanted to create the effect that it was stamped page from a notebook, so I used the Notebook Edge die from Clearly Besotted .
