Creative Expressions Zen Betty Clear Stamps, Gift Tag

Hello All!

I would like to share with you today a small gift tag, the last item that coordinates with my previous posts (a door/wall hanging and a birthday card).

Again I have used the a clear stamp set by Creative Expressions, Zen Betty. Today I havn’t used the main image of the set, instead focussing on the smaller accent stamps. Speaking to crafters around and about many have said they struggle to know what to do with smaller images. But as with anything once you see a few ideas its sets you on the right path.

Hopefully I can inspire you.

1.Colour a 7 x 7 cm area with the Pretty In Pink colour cloud ink. Over lay a Creative Expressions mask (That Special Touch Mask – Counterpane) and sponge the Colour Cloud Ink in Ocean Blue using the blending Smoothie sponges.

2. Use the small accents stamps from the set (flowers and butterflies) and stamp onto your cardstock. Dab some ink onto your non stick craft mat, and use this to ink up your stamps. Using a dry paintbrush pick up a small amount of ink and lightly colour the images.

4.On a separate piece of pink tinted card, stamp the same number of butterlies you added directly to the tag and lightly colour them to suit.

5.Before cutting out the butterflies over stamp with black ink, repeat this also with the flowers directly onto the tag. Adhere onto the gift tag, applying glue just to the body area, leaving wings free to give dimension.

6.Stamp just the ‘Birthday’ from the sentiment, cut out carefully and add to the bottom right of the tag. Hand write ‘It’s Your’ just above. Complete the tag by stapling a length of ribbon as decoration to the top of the tag, and add Cosmic Swinkle to the butterflies to mak them sparkle.
