Buttons and Stickles …

We have a fabulous and fun new challenge launching this evening over at the Sarah Hurley 365 blog.

We would like to see your creations, including buttons, whether they are from your spares stash in your sewing box or die cut with your favourite papers – include them on your creation and let us know about it.

I had fun with this challenge, and got a bit carried away and made two cards,in different colour ways.

I used fellow team members Jaine Drakes special edition Cupcake stamps (to be found in Sarah Hurley’s shop). having stamped them with momento ink I used my promarkers to colour them in before embellishing the cake case with buttons (securing them with a layer of sparkly stickles)

The papers are from various kits collected over the months from Sarah’s ‘A Few of My Favourite Things’ monthly club.

I was pleased with how these cards worked and are great fun perfect for children and adults birthdays.
