Butterflies for Valentine’s Day…

Good Morning, well what an eventful week it has been. Firstly I never imagined i would spend Valentines morning shovelling gravel in a flooded drive to clear the drains !!!!  None the less it was very satisfying, when I did find it, uncovered it and ‘whooosh’, the water was gone. Who would have thought after everything that was thrown at us the other day, we would wake up to yet more heavy rain and gales this morning. Unfortuantly I cannot solve our TV problem quite as easily. The hurricane force storm that hit on on Wednesday, causing complete chaos has knocked our dish out of kilter it would seem (as well as flattening many of the large trees in our area), and we can’t get and engineer for 10 days……oh no that means we’ll be missing Eastenders !!!!!! Can’t complain I guess, we at least have our power and water back to normal.

So onto my make for the day. I have posted this card over at Sarah Hurley 365 blog, so it would be great if you could pop over, there is also a reminder about the challenge that is running this month too.
On the theme of Valentine’s I have used Sarah’s heart stamp from the latest ‘Few of my Favourite Things’ monthly kit, and stamped them to make butterflies
By playing around with different colours and adding solid lines with a black fine line marker, I could create a few different looks…. gorgeous aren’t they, I’m quite chuffed with them. The ones I havn’t used on the card I have kept for another time.
