1906 Elegant Lady..
Good Morning, Easter Monday, and I’m hoping we get a reprieve from the wind and rain that we had from all day non stop yesterday.
Being the beginning of the month again it is the start of a new challenge at
Our sponsor is a talented artist that I had not encountered before, his name is Rick St.Dennis, you can visit his etsy shop HERE or his blog HERE
he has a very interesting background and I would recommend reading the intro to him on the Crafty Bloggers challenge site. As a DT we were lucky enough to choose an image each, and between us I think we really represent well the diversity of this artists talents.
I have gone very classic, with an image of an elegant lady sporting a hat and fashion from 1906, but there are cute images, and slightly alternative gothic images.
I hope you like what I have created and are intrigued enough to visit our challenge site to see what else the design team has created
This is one of two of my favourite colour combinations, and I have a pad of self adhesive material sheets from DCWV, and as I couldn’t decide which pattern to use, I have incorporated a sample of each of the sheets in the pad. I’m not sure that the photo truly represents the soft feel and texture of the background.
I have used promarkers to colour and was really happy with the way the hair turned out. Like many crafters we are all crafting to get those shiny locks just right.
