Lace and Ribbons

This theme this week at Stamp n Doodle was LACE & FLOWERS (Any lace and flowers – can be die cuts, punches, actual lace and flowers, etc )

Card recipe
Digital image from Stamp n Doodle, Puppy Love
White card base 6×8 inch
Background paper, handmade flowers & smal flower border sticker – Basic Grey, Capella collection
Lace – lovely surprise gift from Mum
Tim Holtz stick pin with K & Co. heart tag
Die cut flowers cut with Cricut cartridge, Mothers Day Bouquet
With the boys on half term last week, we went out to the cinema, and naturally looked in a few shops. I saw a card that was incredibly simple, but very effective, so I used that as my inspiration in starting this card and a means to do something  bit different with the lace.
The lacey panel is an ATC (artist trading card) wrapped in 4 lengths of ribbons, and then used as the backdrop for the ever so cute digital image from STAMP n DOODLE. The image of the little girl was printed twice, in brown to keep the softness of the image in keeping with the rest of the colour palette (shown below).

One of the images was coloured with promarkers, cut out and decoupaged onto the other image.
I made the flowers using one of my favourite Basic Grey paper collections, Capella. I used the Cricut cartridge Mothers Day Bouquet to cut the flower layers.
This is the card for this weeks challenge over and the STAMP n DOODLE challenge blog.
